But you don't have to go to a museum to appreciate the beauty of this place – everywhere you turn is Art Deco and Belle-Epoque architecture. Nothing beats strolling around the quintessentially French streets, popping into a cafe or a bar here and there. And if it starts get to get hot, where's better to go than the beach? Nice is famous for its glittering coastline, and you're just a ten-minute walk from it. Spend the afternoon gliding through the aqua blue waters and resting on the sand.
